To Everything a Season

To everything there is a season,

A time, a purpose and a reason.

A time to be born and a time to die,

A time to laugh and a time to cry,

A time to till and plant the ground, 

Another time to mow it down,

A time to heal, a time to kill,

A time to speak, a time to be still,

A time to tear down, a time to build,

A time to cast the stones away,

A time to gather another day,

A time to embrace and be held tight,

A time when embracing isn’t right,

A time to rend, a time to sew,

A time to keep, a time to let go,

A time to get, a time to lose,

A time to let go and let God choose,

A time of peace, a time of war,

A time when hate will be no more.
