I  HAVE 

I have a God,

  Who is with me each day.

He knows my heart,

  He hears what I say.

And I have His peace,

  which nothing can take,

And the bond of His love,

  so strong it won’t break.

The depth of His love,

  Reaches out to us all,

Holding us up,

  lest we should fall.

And if we reach and

  grasp His hand,

It is His strength

  that helps us stand.

For we are weak,

  when on our own.

It is our faith,

  in Him alone.

That gives us hope,

  to meet each day.

To look for Him,

  to watch and pray.
