How they knew the Holy Spirit was in them.

When the Holy Spirit came into the hearts of Jesus disciples, they began to speak in another language. This language was from heaven.

This was the sign God gave them that the Holy Spirit had come into their hearts. From that time on when a believer in Jesus is filled with the Holy Spirit, God causes him to speak in a beautiful heavenly language.

The wonderful thing about this is that those who believe in Jesus are still being filled with the Holy Spirit as they receive Him.

Today, we don’t have the wind or the fire, but we are filled and speak in tongues or another language.

Every believer who knows Jesus as Saviour needs to pray to God to receive this wonderful gift from God.

Read Luke 11:11-13. Here we read that our heavenly Father wants to give us the gift of the Holy Spirit. He wants us to ask Him for this Gift.
