Lesson 19 - God Made All Things

In Genesis 1:1 we read, “God created the heavens and the earth.” God made everything. He made the earth with all the trees, grass and flowers. He made the mountains and hills. He made the beautiful blue sky and the puffy white clouds. In the sky He placed all the planets and the sun and the moon and the stars.

Read Hebrews 11:6, this verse tells us that we must believe that God is and that He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Verse 3 tells us that by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. God made it all. He spoke the word and it was done.

John 1:3 - “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.” This scripture shows us that nothing just happened by itself. Everything was made by God. Sometimes men who do not believe in God try to tell us that things just happened, and that God didn’t create all the things that we see, but we must not believe them. We must always believe God’s Word, the Bible.
