Lesson 20 - God Created Man

Genesis 2:7, tells us that the Lord made man from the dust of the earth. Yes, God took some dirt and made the first man.

He put the man in a beautiful garden called Eden. This garden had all kinds of tall green trees and lots of good fruit to eat. God named the first man Adam.

In Genesis 2:21 and 22, we read that God caused Adam to fall asleep and God took one of Adam’s ribs and made a woman and gave her to Adam to be his wife.

I’m sure this made Adam very happy and he was not lonely anymore. What a wonderful and great Creator God is!

In six days God made everything. Then, God rested on the seventh day. Read Genesis 1:31 and Genesis 2:1-3.

God was not tired, but all His work was finished and He was happy with the beautiful earth and the animals, and most of all the man and the woman which He had made.
