Lesson 24 continued

I Thessalonians 4:13,14, tells us that we should not be sad and have great sorrow as people who do not know Jesus as their Saviour. Why? Because we know that those believers who die are with the Lord.

The Bible tells us they have not really died. They are just "asleep." Yes, their body is dead, but the Bible says it is sort of like a sleep. The life is gone to be with God. Their spirit is living in heaven with Jesus.
