Lesson 13 - Appearances of Jesus

Jesus appeared to many people in the Old Testament Times, before He was born on earth.

Genesis 18:1-14

This Scripture tells us that God appeared to Abraham in the form of three men. We have studied already that there are three in the Godhead or Trinity. Do you remember that?

It is important to see that God used this number three for a purpose. That is, to teach us once more that there are three in the Godhead.

Notice in verse 3, Abraham spoke to the men and said, “My Lord,” not “My Lords.” Abraham knew that God was three persons but yet one. Jesus was manifested to Abraham as one of these three.
