Read all these Scriptures. Jesus Christ’s Priesthood began when He hung on the cross. It will never end.

What does a priest do? A priest is a person who talks to God for man. He is the go between, between God and man.

Man is so very far from God. Only Jesus can go to God for man. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us that there is only one mediator between God and man, that is Jesus Christ.

The word “mediator” means “a go between, a referee, umpire, or peacemaker.” Jesus has made peace between God and man by His death on the cross.

We can now come right to God the Father with our needs. Jesus is our Priest. No man can take Jesus’ place. Right now, Jesus sits at the right hand of God praying for us. He will always be our Great High Priest.
