| In verse 51, we read that He went with His
parents to Nazareth and was subject unto them.
This means that He obeyed them. He lived with
them, doing whatever they asked of Him.
When He was thirty years old, He was baptized by John the Baptist. Matthew 3:13 to 4:1. This was the beginning of His ministry.
Read Matthew 4:17, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent."
Jesus went about doing good things. He began healing the sick, making blind people to see, delivering some from demons, causing those who were deaf to hear, crippled people to walk again, and raised the dead back to life.
The stories that tell about many things Jesus did are found in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
When Jesus was 33 and 1/2 years old, the Jews took Him and turned Him over to the Roman
soldiers to be crucified. I'm sure that you have seen
a picture of Jesus hanging on the cross. Read
