Where Are You Going?

When we prepare to go on a journey we take stock of the stock we are taking. Jesus sent out His disciples and when they finished their course, Jesus asked, “Lack ye anything?” They hadn’t lacked a thing.

Trust His supply. What are we to expect? Check out what He has promised in His Word.

Ps. 37:4-5, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

He knows the way I take, He is faithful to give me directions and signal signs along the way. He also provides course corrections.

Phil. 3:15, “Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.”

There will be unexpected conditions on the road - Lord enable us to remain progressively focussed and avoid distractions.

Heb. 12:1-2, “...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
