Later Than You Think
A young boy awakened at midnight, He listened to the old grandfather's clock strike out the melody of midnight one, two, three, four . . . and on to twelve. But something went wrong with the old clock and it kept on striking . . . thirteen . . . fourteen . . . fifteen . . . sixteen. The boy became alarmed and ran into his father's bedroom. He startled his father with these words, "Daddy, I just heard the old clock strike sixteen! It must be later than it's ever been before!" There's no time to waste. No time for frivolity, or worldly pursuits. It's time to
seek the Lord. It's later than it's ever been before! |
