LoveA love whose greatness cannot measured be; Like a vast ocean, without shore or landing; And that great love, it loveth you and me! Nor height, nor depth, nor breadth, nor length can show it No words of man can speak its tale to thee; And yet thy poor weak heart may learn to know it- That wondrous love that loveth you and me! For God so loved, He sent His Well-Beloved, His only Son, to die for you and me; And thus His love to all the world He proved - Oh, proof divine; that cannot questioned be; And Jesus died, and rose, and went to heaven, God’s gift of love and life to you and me: Oh, gift unspeakable! to be forgiven, And dwell with God and Christ eternally! —W.
