Marvelous Message of Grace

Loretta Roewert

Oh how precious is the grace of God as it works effectually in our lives. Grace brought to us salvation (Eph. 2:8), but that is just the starting place. God wants us to grow in grace and knowledge (II Peter 3:18). It is the word of His grace that builds us up and gives us our inheritance (Acts 20:32). I’m so glad the day God revealed this grace to my heart. Praise His Name!

The purpose of grace is shown to all by the Word of God. In Titus 2:12 we see it teaches us to live godly, to deny worldly lusts, to live soberly, righteously as we sojourn here on our pilgrim journey. If we allow this grace to work in and through us we can be examples for others to follow.

One meaning of grace - Is the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life. It causes us to be thankful, joyful and grateful. Oh the joy and peace that is ours comes from the One who said peace be unto you. We can trust our Father and know whatever He is doing in our lives will be for our eternal good and glorify Him. Oh praise God we have the privilege of glorifying Him now.

Our hearts and lives should be in harmony with the Word of God. Praise God for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. His promises are sure and His Word never changes. What a mighty God we have who loves us. He wants the best for all of us. The Word of God is the only thing that will establish us and reveal our Lord to us as we allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to our hearts. Oh for the honest heart that will cry out to Him, the One who can do more than we ask or think. I want everything Jesus purchased for me on calvary, that pleases His Father and ours. Glory to God.

Jesus Christ paid the price for our sin that grace may super abound in our lives. It pleases God when we accept His Word by faith. He shows us the way and then gives the strength and grace to walk. If there is anything we need, He has invited us to come to Him. Do we need more faith? Do we need deliverance? Do we need and want more of Him? Do we need healing? What does He say in Heb. 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Let the love of Christ minister to your heart the grace that is so important to live and stand for Him. There is nothing I can do to merit this grace. It is all by faith. It is all God. It pleases Him when we believe and trust Him for all we are and have. The reason for this is found in Eph. 2:7, That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Jesus Christ. May our hearts be touched by the Word of His grace and He will finish the work He has begun. Then we will be praising Him for eternity. Don’t wait for eternity, we can start now to praise Him who only is worthy.

Jesus keeps me in the time of storm.
   He whispers peace be still.
My heart is made to find its rest.
In the center of His will.
